Citrus base eliminates hazards associated with petrochemicals

(Downers Grove, IL)  A citrus-based solvent developed to provide the performance of traditional general cleaners, but without their characteristic health hazards, is being introduced by Vertec BioSolvents, Inc. Marketed under the name VertecBio Citrus, this unique product (patent pending) made from citrus solvents and vegetable esters is not only environmentally friendly, but suitable under the most stringent health and safety regulations for a broad range of cleaning operations.

Combining heavy-duty cleaning power with a pleasant citrus fragrance, VertecBio Citrus is both versatile in application and pleasant to use. It is ideal for flushing paint lines, cleaning spray guns and cleaning paint booths. It is effective on most polyurethanes, enamels, epoxies and UV curable coatings. VertecBio Citrus is also an excellent wipe solvent (especially for pre-cleaning parts prior to painting) for cleaning without leaving a greasy residue.

VertecBio Citrus, which is 100% biodegradable, is an EPA approved SNAP (Significant New Alternative Policy Program) solvent. It is non ozone-depleting, non-carcinogenic, non-corrosive and it is not HAP (hazardous air pollutant) or SARA (Superfund Amendment Reauthorization Act)313 reportable.  VertecBio Citrus does not contain environmentally hazardous ingredients or global warming compounds.
