VERTEC BIOSOLVENTS™ was created as a result of a patented process for low cost production of lactate ester solvents. In June, 1997 NTEC funded a CRADA (Cooperative Research and Development Agreement) with Argonne National Laboratory (ANL). VERTEC BIOSOLVENTS™ was created based upon the success of the patented process.
VERTEC BIOSOLVENTS™ markets and distributes corn derived lactate ester solvents and soybean derived methyl soyate solvents worldwide based upon this important low cost production method. Vertec BioSolvents contemplates a worldwide market potential of several billion pounds a year of lactate ester VERTECBIO EL™ and lactate ester methyl soyate VERTECBIO GOLD™ sales by 2010.
It no longer costs more to use an environmentally friendly natural grain derived solvent. In fact, it may cost less.
